    LitePac Top: a smarter way to package sustainably

    In response to increasing sustainability demands in the beverage industry, Krones has developed LitePac Top – a secondary packaging solution designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining logistical efficiency and consumer convenience.

    LitePac Top replaces shrink film with a plastic-free, paper-based strap system suitable for PET bottles and cans. The packaging is fully recyclable and compatible with existing supply chains, as confirmed through extensive field testing with European customers.

    In his talk at the Krones Forum during drinktec 2025, Tobias Gut from Krones explains how LitePac Top addresses the growing demand for environmentally responsible packaging. Key highlights from the video:

    • Field-tested practicality with over 20 supply chain trials across Europe
